Its finally time you guys! I have been looking forward to this event since we scheduled it in the Fall! 😊🍓 Lol

We will be going to the strawberry patch at Sunset Berry Farm on Monday, May 15th, 2023 from 11:00-2:00pm.

This event is for the Elementary age students but siblings are welcome to tag along. Come join us and Farmer Kent as we learn all about what it takes to run a berry farm of 50,000 strawberry plants! 🍓🍓🍓

The price per student is $15 and includes the following activities...

1. Play time on the state's largest outdoor bounce pad

2. Rides on the tractor pulled bucking cow barrel train 

3. Scavenger hunt in the enchanted forest fairy garden

4. Each paying child gets to pick their own pint of strawberries

Adults are free and do not need a ticket. If adults would like to pick berries as well, you can purchase those separately at the farm. The price is $5/pound.

The address to the farm is Sunset Berry Farm, 791 Sunset School Road, Alderson, WV 24910.  However, they recommend that you dont use GPS lol Here is the directions that they give on their website...

Coming from East on 64: take left off exit 161 to Alderson

Coming from West on 64: take right off exit 161

Go 12 miles to Alderson, go through the stop sign and take next left onto Route 3 to cross bridge. Left at end of the bridge. Go through town and follow route 3 (must turn right at the end of town). Take next left onto Flat mountain Road. Go 2 miles and take first left (Laurel Creek Road). Go 1 mile and take first right (Sunset School Road- gravel). Farm is 9/10 mile on the left. You can also follow signs once you get to Alderson.
